Home Away Home is the name given to the domicile which is exactly like your own home but just that it is away from the place you were born. It is a ladies P.G. for those who want to make it big in their life. Contains Sixteen Rooms paying guest at Maniktala. It is close to the major railway stations, prominent markets and the Airport.
In 2011, Mr. Sujit Kr. Basak came up with the idea of establishing a ladies paying guest house at Maniktala in Kolkata and erected ‘Home Away Home’ with all facilities that one wants in one’s home. The 16 rooms that have built up the guest house are divided into double bedded, triple bedded and four bedded rooms. It may be a make shift shelter but comprises food facility, 24 hours running hot and cold water, housekeeping facility, highly advanced password protected electronic security system at main gate and 24 hours attendant.
A new city may mean new requirements; one might get unwell or may be on the lookout for a proper laundry service in the locality. We provide the very necessary doctor on call amenity and laundry service. We have both A.C. and non A. C. rooms with a separate sub meter for each room. Make yourself comfortable at any of our rooms according to your preference.
Home Away Home is in close proximity to Sealdah, Howrah railway stations and the Kolkata Airport. The prominent markets and malls are also quite close to the establishment. The guest house runs by the motto of ‘providing a secure and homely place in the heart of Kolkata’. It is indeed a safe heaven for women coming from far and near and looking for safety in the capital of West Bengal. It gives a homely atmosphere and ensures that you will never miss your close ones while here but will miss us when you move on in life.
